    The location was the only good thing about the hotel

    I wanted a room in a quiet location (facing the back) on the upper floor and got a room on the first floor facing very noisy place. Another room is not free. With the window open, sleeping was impossible, and noisy air conditioning; So I had no quiet night! Will not book this hotel anymore.

    Everything was first-class, clean hotel, absolutely perfect location in a great area. Met extremely helpful staff at the reception desk. The twin/double room was air-conditioned, included shower facilities, a hairdryer, and bath robes. We had delicious and free breakfasts at a reduced rate.

    The location is very central, the staff very nice and friendly. Dogs are welcome and even get a generous gift.

    The rooms are extremely noisy and the cheap laminate floor probably has no insulation. You can hear the neighbors next door (watching TV) and at the same time from the top (when somebody is walking around).

    This place radiates luxury with its elegant decor and historical charm! I adored lounging by the rooftop pool, soaking in the amazing city views while sipping on expertly crafted cocktails. The staff were really nice, treating every guest like family and always anticipating our needs.

    We stayed in a Superior Double or Twin Room with City View. The location is perfect for walking to local attractions, and the room was very comfortable. After a busy day, relaxing in the hotel felt great! Plus, the front desk had complimentary drinks waiting when we checked in, a nice touch.

    The room was spacious and well-appointed, but noise from the nearby street was occasional. A nice moment was the surprise room upgrade we received upon arrival.

    The villa real had a fantastic location! It's so close to the prado and just a short walk to the thyssen and sofía. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved the late checkout and enjoyed watching the lively square from our balcony. Free access to the swimming pool at the hotel urban in the summer is a nice touch!
